Oil Portrait Fees

My fees typically range from $2,000 to $8,000 for portraits depending upon the size and complexity.  I will be able to give you a better feel for pricing by discussing your needs in person.

Please contact me and I will schedule an appointment with you at your home or business to discuss sizes, compositions, and colors that will complement both the sitter and the painting's surroundings.

Other Commissions

For commissions other than portraiture, my fees are based on the painting medium, size, and complexity.  During an appointment we can discuss the color, scale, and what type of medium (oil or watercolor)

Terms

There are additional expenses should I have to travel outside of the Washington DC area.

There are additional charges for portraits with additional subjects in the painting.

Deposits are non-refundable once the portrait has been started. 

Balance is due upon completion/delivery.
